Lace Poppy Pins
THIS IS A PRE-ORDER, ALL POPPIES WILL BE POSTED OR AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP/ LOCAL DELIVERY, FROM SATURDAY THE 9TH OF NOVEMBER.
For over 100 year, the red poppy has been a recognised symbol of remembrance, for all who sacrificed their lives to protect their country. In recent years, the purple poppy has been worn to remember the animals in service.
The poppy has always been a favourite of mine, so when I decided to produce this freestanding lace pin, I thought it was only right that a donation from sales would go to charity. As these are in no way affiliated to the official poppy appeal, I have decided that £5 from each red poppy, should be donated to my local British legion in Montrose and £5 from each purple poppy, be donated to Willows Animal Sanctuary in Fraserburgh, a charity I’ve supported for years with a small monthly donation but I know they really struggle at this time of year to purchase all the winter feed for the multiple species in their care.
Poppies will be available in the shop from the 9th of November and throughout November (or while stocks last) I will post proof of donation on my socials at the end of November.
Poppy pins measure 60mm x 45mm and come with a certificate of authenticity and nicely packaged in a wee black pillow box.
